About Me

In my late 20’s, I started to experience back and shoulder pain that never seemed to get better. I discovered I had scoliosis which had gone undiagnosed since my teens. I spent over 10 years working with personal trainers, practicing yoga, and training in karate. I also participated in numerous modalities of physical therapy, all in an effort to manage the pain, get stronger and prevent my curvature from getting  worse.

When I suffered a broken ankle, it limited my ability to work out. My alignment and curve got worse. A friend recommended Pilates, not only as a way to rehab my ankle but to improve my whole body. It not only improved my alignment but set my life in a whole new direction. After 12 years of Pilates, working on my own body, I felt it was time to help others find the relief and hope that Pilates has given me.

My years of practice and education allow me to work with clients dealing with all kinds of physical injuries: knee, shoulder, hip, back, and of course Scoliosis. I also enjoy working with pre-and post-natal clients. My training and certification come from the Kane School of Core Integration. I had the privilege of studying under Stephanie Bittner, Kelly Kane, and a host of other talented educators. It is my passion to help others better understand their bodies through movement. To develop strength, overcome pain, and live lives of wellness.
